About Us

Courageous Travels started as CC Tours and was founded in the 1980s. The first trip was to St. Louis in 1995 and the year-round travel program started in 2005 with 23 trips and is now at 35 and growing. As of January 1st, 2018 the Camp Courageous travel program is now known as Courageous Travels. The Travel Team has worked tirelessly and will continue to work hard with the travelers in mind.

Our mission and goal is to provide new and exciting travel opportunities for all of our travelers, so they can experience a safe and stress-free vacation. Courageous Travels provides individuals with disabilities, ages 18 and older, the opportunity to experience the thrill of traveling to exciting destinations both domestic and abroad. The Travel Team plans every trip to best meet the travelers’ needs. A member of the Travel Team accompanies the travelers on each trip, along with experienced volunteers. The Travel Team is dedicated in making sure we help you find the “right fit” destination.
